Dispensing Medications
Authorized district employees may administer medication in accordance with legal requirements. All medication must be properly labeled and in the original container. Written parental consent is required for all medication. The District requires a physician's written request to administer medication to a student when the medication must be administered for more than 10 days.
 
Over the counter medication can only be administered in accordance with directions on the label unless accompanied by physician's orders.

Until further notice, the Commerce Food Pantry offers curbside service Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. Neighbors are requested to remain in their vehicles along Monroe Street and will be directed when to pull forward. A volunteer will collect information verbally and then a volunteer will load pre-bagged groceries into their car. Accommodations will be made for those walking or biking. Neighbors may receive assistance once per calendar month.

• Bread of Life Food Pantry - 301 Hwy 224, Commerce, TX.

Distributes free food to those in need. Most boxes consist of canned vegetables, rice, pasta, peanut butter, cereal, juice, and canned meat.  We also offer frozen meat, and fresh produce when in stock. New clients bring a photo ID and proof of address. For example, current utility bill. Our distribution days are the first Friday after the first Wednesday 12:00pm - 2:00pm (open to seniors at 10:00am) and on the 3rd Wed of the month from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.    Volunteers and donations are always welcome.
